Physician Recruitment and Retention

The South Huron Medical Recruitment and Retention Committee was established in 2005 and is comprised of volunteer members from the municipality. The committee, with the support of both the Municipal Council and the South Huron Hospital Association and our medical staff, works to promote and encourage physicians, nurses and other allied health professionals to consider a career in a rural setting through its attendance at medical job fairs and career expos. In addition, the committee welcomes the opportunity to show its appreciation to those who provide quality health care to the residents of our communities.
 

	In October 2009, the South Huron Medical Recruitment and Retention committee took the opportunity to acknowledge and thank our area medical clinics and staff for the role each plays in providing health care to our communities. Committee members delivered “coffee & treats” to clinics in Grand Bend, Hensall, Bayfield, Zurich and Exeter.
