What Not To Bring

• Personal Care items that have fragrance.  SHHA is a "scent-free" facility.
• Electrical appliances.
• According to hospital electrical and fire safety policies, the use of electrical appliances, with the exception of electric razors, is prohibited in the hospital. A hair dryer may be used if approved by the nursing staff.
• All permitted electrical appliances must be left at the nursing station to be checked by Operations Management prior to their use.
• Valuables: It is not the responsibility of SHHA to care for a patient's valuables. We advise that all valuable items be sent home upon admission.. SHHA is not responsible for any lost or stolen items.
• Pets are not permitted at SHHA with the exception of Guide Dogs and pet therapy animals.
