Physiotherapy:

Physiotherapy services are available to in-patients five days a week. Outpatient services are not funded by the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care and as such are limited to a select number of patients available three days a week. If you have private insurance coverage you will be asked to use these services.

SHHA employs one full-time physiotherapist and one full-time physiotherapy assistant.

Hours:
• open from 7:00 am until 3:00 pm, Monday to Friday
• closed weekends and statutory holidays

Location:
• located in the basement of the hospital - just to the right as you come off the elevator.

Patients seen in the physiotherapy department must have a referral from a physician.
